Phlebotomy

The summer before the start of my freshman year id decided to spend my time learning phlebotomy. I enrolled in a virtual class where I studied blood, physiology, immunology, hazardous materials handling, and the practice of phlebotomy. I plan to take my NAPTP phlebotomy certification exam in December of 2021 over my break from classes at the University of Washington. Prior to my time at UW I was able to draw blood from my first patient in the primary care office I interned at (shown in the photo below).
